Friday’s photos, and a happyish update

I was totally going to post pictures from yesterday’s hilarious trip to the corn maze (shuddup, I’d never been to one before!), but since they have been deemed retarded (…poke, poke…), I shall salvage what is left of my dignity and refrain. Instead, have some innocuous fall-ish pictures.

Entrance of the maze (as if THAT weren't glaringly obvious).

Also, remember the old neglected doberboy from the side of the road? I saw him yesterday for the first time since he went on his merry way, and I got some quick pictures of him. Check this out:

That's him on the left there, with his "brother" on the right.

Again next to his brother.

Again next to his brother.

I can't believe how much of his hair grew back. (And yeah, it looks like dog central here).

Smiling now!

He’s still patchy-looking in some places, but even so, I barely recognized him. He remembered me, though …

Oh yeah, look Internets. It's me.

I love corn mazes! I haven’t been to one in years but they are fun.
The dobie looks so much better and what a happy fella! I was so focused on his patchy fur the first time around that I didn’t notice his ears weren’t cropped. That makes me happy.

Isn’t it great to run into the dogs you’ve helped. Every single dog I’ve fostered remembers me and it’s the best feeling when they run up to you with smiles and wags.

    You have got gorgeous hair.

  3. Those pups are so cute and I like your red hair :-)

Same sky, thanks! It was pretty neat to see the difference in the dog – I didn’t think he’d make as remarkable a turn-around in such a short amount of time.

Dingo, yeah, I’m with you on the ears…I wish the brindle bro’s had been left with theirs, too. (…Oh, and thanks!) :)

Amber, you wouldn’t be partial to the color or anything … ;)

  5. Hey fellow redhead!

He looks WONDERFUL! Hardly the same animal. And you’re right he looks so happy. :) Once again proving your awesomeness.

Hey yourself! And yay, I’m so glad you saw the happy update for a change (see? they’re not all sad stories…ha). :)
